About
Welcome to my business, gorgeous!
I am a Board Certified Haircolorist, Cinderellahair Certified Hair Extension Specialist, Makeup Artist, Hairstylist of 14 years, and owner of Lisa Grace Artistry LLC. I was born and raised in Utah, and I continue to build my life here.
I met my husband, Anthony, when I was 18 and married him five years later. We have been married for 10 years and have one boy, one girl, and a dog. My oldest child is named Alec, (my husband's middle name) and my youngest is Grace (my middle name and my great-grandmother's name). We adopted Rocky two years ago and he is an 11 year old Bichon-Shitzu mix. We all love to snuggle and take family walks.
As a mom, I know exactly how important it is to feel special, pampered and beautiful in a relaxing ambiance. I've designed my studio suite salon experience in a way that will leave you feeling uplifted, relaxed and more confident than you've ever felt before.
I am extremely passionate about everything in my career; I love being a Day Maker for the people that sit in my chair and I hope to inspire everyone I come into contact with. You will often find me researching ingredients, learning about the science of hair, or attending a class — my love for learning keeps my talents growing and expanding. Currently, I am working to become a Certified Trichologist so that I can better help those dealing with hair loss and scalp issues.
In the summer of 2007, after a year of college, I decided to move back home and attend Beauty School. Little did I know how much I would love this career path! I was a hard worker and earned top awards throughout school and I continue to work hard and achieve goals, 12 years later. I have an insane amount of passion for the beauty industry and I totally geek out when I learn new things. My passion is what drives me and keeps me excited about my chosen profession. I love working with people and I love having a positive effect in so many lives.
I decided to become an American Board Certified Colorist because I want to help better the hair industry. I believe that if stylists are better trained in the art of hair color and consultation, there would be fewer "disasters" and fewer consumers believing that they can replicate what they see in the salon. Being BCH Certified gives me a push to share my knowledge, continue to learn and to continue perfecting my craft.
